Increasing veterinary care to Colorado pet owners

Community Veterinary Services

Humane Colorado offers programs to support pet owners in our community with preventative care and other veterinary needs. These resources are designed to help reduce the cost of veterinary care, provide animal care clinics, and keep pets with their people.

Affordable Veterinary Clinics from Humane Colorado

Our wellness clinics connect pet owners to affordable routine veterinary care for happy, healthy pets.

Healthy Pets Plus!

Healthy Pets Plus clinics are an economical option for keeping your pet healthy and up to date on preventative services. During your consultation, a veterinarian will perform a nose to toes physical exam on your pet and can address questions about their care.

This service is available for healthy owned puppies and kittens, felines under 10 years old, and dogs less than 8 years old. We do not offer this service to for-profit breeders or rescue groups.

Spay/Neuter Clinics

Humane Colorado offers affordable, high quality spay & neuter services to all owned pet cats and dogs. This program is exclusively designed to help individuals in our community who need financial assistance provide preventative veterinary care for their loving pets.

Primary vaccines (FVRCP for cats and DA2PP for dogs) are included in your pet’s spay/neuter fee. Additional vaccines and microchipping are offered at a reduced fee.

We do not offer this service to for-profit breeders or rescue groups.

About our community veterinary services team

Our team is a diverse group of professionals committed to providing compassionate, judgement-free care to all pet owners. We have 7 veterinarians on staff in addition to routine support from experienced doctors from local Denver practices. Your pet may also be taken care of by one of our Veterinarian Interns, which are new graduates receiving advanced training in shelter and community medicine, or a 4th year veterinary student from CSU or other veterinary school getting valuable hands-on experience as they learn.

We also boast a skilled team of Registered Veterinary Technicians, veterinary assistants and customer service representatives, all with the biggest hearts and dedication to our mission to provide accessible veterinary care to our community.
